Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel's servers necessarily process technical data to deliver it and to keep the service secure: your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested URL, the referring page, and your browser's user agent. Vercel keeps these logs only for a limited period.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / UK GDPR).
Vercel may process this data in the United States. Transfers are covered by Vercel's data processing agreement, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the corresponding UK addendum) as safeguards for international transfers.
Contact form and email
When you send the contact form, we receive the details you enter: name, email address, company or website, your description of the project, the formats you selected and, if you chose one, a budget range. To detect abuse, your IP address and browser user agent are included with the message. The form does not store anything in a database on this website: the request is sent as an email to our own mail server, where we read and answer it. The same applies when you email us directly.
To limit spam, your IP address is also held in the web server's memory for up to ten minutes to count requests; it is not written to disk for this purpose.
We use your request only to reply to you and, if you wish, to prepare a quote. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not send automated replies.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, where you have given it, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. The IP address and user agent are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of the form (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Providing your data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as we need it to deal with it. If no project follows, we delete it no later than twelve months after our last contact. If a contract follows, we keep the related correspondence for as long as statutory retention obligations (for example tax and accounting rules) require.
Recipients
Your data is not sold or shared for marketing. The only external service involved is our hosting provider Vercel (see above). Our mail server is operated by us.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use local storage for tracking, and does not include analytics, advertising or social media tools. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- have processing restricted (Art. 18);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@movista.pro.
Right to complain
You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, you can contact the supervisory authority in the member state where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
Security
Pages and form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The form sends email to our mail server over an encrypted SMTP connection.
Changes
We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
