Motion design for software launches
Launch films that show your actual product.
We make short films from your real interface, colours, fonts and copy — for launches, feature releases and social. No stock footage, no lookalike mock-ups.

Films for askVela
askVela is an AI sales assistant for online shops, made by the same company that runs Movista. Every screen in these films is rebuilt from its real interface; the shops in the stories are invented.
Fire / Hire
16:9 · 0:36
Launch film. A clueless chatbot gets fired and askVela's real chat widget takes the shift — setup, product answers, night shift, handover — cut to a 120 BPM beat.
Fire / Hire, vertical
9:16 · 0:36
Social cut. The same launch film recomposed for 9:16 — layouts rebuilt for the phone, not cropped.
Kevin
9:16 · 0:47
Comedy spot. Meet Kevin, the beige office chatbot. Then the opposite: same question, a real answer, sold.
In the Wild
9:16 · 0:44
Parody. A nature documentary about a rare species: the shop owner who hasn't slept since launch.
Watch This Number
9:16 · 0:39
Data story. An odometer counts the sales lost to unanswered questions — until one is answered in four seconds.
Two Shops
9:16 · 0:38
Split screen. One question, two shops, two clocks. One answers in four seconds; the other is still waiting.
My Mom Has a Shop
9:16 · 0:42
Narrated story. A child's crayon drawing comes to life and explains who helps her mom's shop at bedtime.
Yellow Leaf
9:16 · 0:42
Narrated story. Midnight, a yellowing monstera, a nursery that answers — and two weeks later, a new leaf.
What we make
Four kinds of film
Launch film
20–40 s · 16:9 + 9:16
The film for launch day: the problem, your product doing the work, and the line people remember. Cut to music, built for the homepage, the announcement and the feed.
Feature clips
8–15 s
One feature, one idea. Short loops for release notes, changelogs, onboarding and product pages.
Social cut-downs
9:16 · 1:1
Versions for vertical and square feeds. The layout is recomposed for each format — type and interface stay readable on a phone.
Explainer
Narrated
A voice-over walks through how your product works, scene by scene, with the interface on screen as it really is.
Every film comes with
- MP4 in every aspect ratio you need
- Captions
- Sound design and music
- Source composition on request
How it works
From your link to the final cut
- 01
Send your link
Your product URL or access to a staging build, brand assets if you have them, and a few lines on what you're launching.
- 02
Storyboard
A written beat sheet: scenes, on-screen copy, timing and music direction. Nothing moves until you've approved it.
- 03
First cut
We rebuild your interface in code — your fonts, colours and copy — and animate it to the music.
- 04
Revisions
Copy, prices, colours and timing are edits to the source, then a fresh render. No re-animating from scratch.
- 05
Delivery
Final renders in every format you asked for, with captions — and the source composition if you want it.
Built in code, rendered to film
Each film is a composition of real interface and type, animated and rendered to video. That's what keeps it on-brand — and quick to change.
Your real interface
Screens are rebuilt in HTML and CSS from your product, not mocked up from screenshots or stock UI kits.
Fast, exact edits
Every frame comes from code (HTML compositions animated with GSAP, rendered to video), so a changed headline is a re-render.
Formats without cropping
16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 come from the same source, each laid out for its own frame.
Pricing
A fixed quote per film
No packages and no hourly rates. After a short brief you get a fixed price for your film, before any work starts.

- Versions
- Extra aspect ratios, languages and cut-downs from the same film.
- Voice-over
- Music and type only, or a narrated script.
- Interface
- How many screens and states of your product we rebuild.
FAQ
Questions, answered
What do you need from me?
A link to your product (or a staging build, Figma file or screenshots if it isn't live yet), your logo and brand fonts if you have them, and a few lines on what you're launching and who it's for. Anything else we'll ask for during the storyboard.
Can you use our brand fonts and colours?
Yes — that's the point. The film uses your fonts, your colours and your actual copy. If a font licence needs checking for use in video, we'll flag it before we start.
Which formats do you deliver?
MP4 (H.264) in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or whatever ratio you need, plus caption files. If you need a different codec or resolution for a specific platform, tell us in the brief.
Do you do voice-over?
Yes. A film can be music and type only, or narrated. We can produce the voice-over with a licensed synthetic voice, or cut the film to a recording you supply.
How do revisions work?
The storyboard is approved before animation starts, so the big decisions are settled early. After the first cut you get rounds of revisions; how many is part of the quote. Small changes are quick because the film is built from code.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length of the film and how many versions you need. You get a schedule together with the quote, before anything is booked.
Who owns the video?
You do, once paid. The final files are yours to use wherever you like — and so is the source composition, if you ask for it.
